#99: The Pros and Cons of Different Content Types
If you’re subscribed to the Marketers Take Flight podcast show, then you know I’ve been talking about content marketing a lot lately. That’s because I believe content marketing is the best way for AEC firms to showcase their expertise, differentiate their firm from competitors, and compete directly with larger firms.
And, a big component of content marketing is, well, content! You need to create content that attracts your ideal client. We talked all about your ideal client in last week’s episode. So, at this point, you know who you are creating content for, but you may be wondering what type of content, specifically digital or online content, will work best.
That’s exactly what I am going to cover in this episode. I am going to walk you through different content types along with the pros and cons for each. My hope is that this will give you some direction on what your content strategy will be based your ideal client’s preferences, your resources, your expertise, and frankly, what you like to produce.
Here are a few highlights from the episode:
- Why content marketing is an effective way for AEC firms to differentiate from their competitors
- Different content types
- Mix different content types that fits best with resources and goals
- Understand how to choose and apply content
