Ely Hemnes, CEO & Founder, The Unfound Door

Ely Hemnes is the CEO & Founder of The Unfound Door, a creative consultancy firm elevating marketing assets, including photography, videography, and design services, in the AEC, Small Business, and Hospitality Industries. The company’s goal is to equip clients with customized visuals that accompany their vision and requirements. They achieve this by educating, empowering, and collaborating with partners during the creative process.

Before creating The Unfound Door, Ely worked in the visual arts and professional theatre circuit where she learned how to unify different business and marketing opinions. This innovative education has granted her the ability to rally both technical and artistic perspectives to a common cause; such tasks requiring organization, communication, and compassion. She hopes to impart these skills with The Unfound Door.

Her greatest professional accomplishments include building a flourishing company, certifying the company as a Woman-Owned Small Business (MWBE, SBE, EBE, DBE, and WOSB) with the state, municipal, and federal government, and being nominated as “Business Developer of the Year” with the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS Colorado). Her company has also received multiple awards for client photo and video projects through ENR, SMPS, AGC, and ABC, as well as being selected as a Woman in Construction Waymaker. Ely is most grateful for her thriving team, partnerships with clients, and the supportive AEC and creative communities.

She would love to hear from you! The Unfound Door is a resource across the nation for sourcing amazing creative assets or just inquiring about specific questions.
